? The Burnet City Council has approved a policy that allows city employees a 20 percent discount to use the city-owned Delaware Springs Golf Course.The council voted 6-1 at its June 25 meeting to approve the policy with council member Derek Fortin voting against it.
Full and part-time employees and approved volunteers working at the course will be elegible to receive the benefits.
Employees who retire from the City of Burnet with a minimum of the last 10 years of service with the city also will be entitled to receive the benefit.
