Military-Themed Breast Cancer Photo Shoot Leads To Arrests ...

PORTLAND, Ore. (CBS Seattle) -?Thirteen men were arrested, and two remain in prison, after taking part in a photo shoot for breast cancer awareness that involved rifles and body armor.

According to The Oregonian, the trouble began Wednesday when drivers and passers-by saw a gathering of men, one of whom was?armed with a rifle and wearing a bullet-proof vest, and alerted the police.

Burnside Bridge was subsequently shut down for almost an hour while responding authorities assessed the situation.

Police soon discovered the costumes and assembly to be part of a photo shoot for the organization ?Beards for Breasts.? The 13 men participating were apprehended at gunpoint, the paper learned.

John Brien Walterich, 35, and Anthony Joseph Quayle, 29, were charged with unlawful possession of a firearm and disorderly conduct, and were remanded to the Multnomah County Detention Center.

The other 11 men were reportedly released.
